Through the initiative of the Grootfontein Private School, the Aufsatzwettbewerb was launched in 2012 under the patronage of the German Cultural Council. Due to various circumstances (Corona dissolution of the of the DKR), the Aufsatzwettbewerb has not taken place since 2019.
These Institutions support and work together with the AGDS.
The objectives of the AGDS are the preservation, maintenance and promotion of the German language and German culture in Namibia through the targeted promotion and support of all member associations.
